Wild knitting!

A while ago I wrote something about the latest trend, a way how crafters try to get people their attention for the beautiful things you can make with yarn: Wild knitting! Or knit graffiti, whatever you like to call it…

And of course…once you’ve heard about it, it seems to be popping up everywhere….! Well, I am not going out much lately, but via email I got these pictures from a friend. She spotted it in Amsterdam!

Soo cool!

Soo cool!

And it was like magic, the very first time when I went out (driving with my mum to a small town near by) I spotted one myself! Of excitement I squeaked : “Huh? Look, Look!” (causing my mum almost a hart-attack… she thought that there was something wrong with me…whoops) But on our way back, we drove very slow and I managed to take a picture of it!

Besides these ‘live’ appearances I bumped into this phenomenon on the blog of Ingrid, she organized a knitted graffiti piece herself, a streetlight as well, go and have a look, it’s brilliant, click here!

Go for it, girl!
