London baby

Being back to work again is great, organizing events is lovely…and this all together in London is even better!

For an IT company that celebrates it’s 25th anniversary I’ve organized a weekend trip to London. The main reason to go there was to pay a visit to Bletchley Park, the place where the de-coding took place during the second world war. And the place where the English National Museum of Computing is located.

The guys (there were only two ladies and me in the group) enjoyed themselves heaps, they were like kids in a candy store when they saw all those old computers…!

For myself this trip was a nice confirmation that I working on my come back into the working world, although I have to plan it very thoroughly and rest at certain times. The guests had some free time and after double checking some locations I had one hour of spare time!

London is over the top x-mas now, so there was only one place to go: Harrod’s and well it’s christmas department.

I really enjoyed the christmas feeling, also Covent Garden was beautifully decorated.

A lot of contrasts in a big city like London. The decorations were huge and the cupcakes that I got treated were mini. But both very nice! And not forget to mention the stylish alley that we passed. Old building with a glass corridor running straight through it, I think the old VW-bus and English phonebooth makes it complete!
